Welcome to the Albany / Upstate New York Alumni Chapter - we host events all around New York's Capital Region. Our membership is comprised of members who work in the public sector, private sector, and not-for-profits. Our members work in a variety of industries: banking, marketing/sales, data analysis, government, and much more! Whether you are a current student, active alumni, or someone who wants to get back in touch with your brothers, then our chapter is the place for you.
The chapter elects four officers each year to lead the group in achieving our purpose and there are ample opportunities to volunteer to help - formally on committees or informally. These officers and volunteers plan events, connect with collegiate members, and report our achievements to Delta Sigma Pi's Central Office. Whether you are excited about getting deeply involved or just looking to reconnect with old friends - our chapter is a home to you!
About Being an Alumni Chapter Member
Being a member of an alumni chapter is very different from the collegiate chapter experience. There is one annual chapter meeting (elections), regular social events, and no attendance policy. You decide how involved you want to be with the chapter: step back when you’re busy or lean in when your schedule is open.
Build Your Network
Our alumni chapter is diverse in where members went to college, what year they graduated, where they live, and where they work, but the best part is that they are all brothers. Expand your network by attending chapter and national Delta Sigma Pi events.
Chapter Events
Unlike a collegiate chapter, the majority of our events are social ones. Whether we grabbing a bite to eat and catching up or going to the Glenville Octoberfest, there are a plethora of fun events to attend. In addition, we also host and attend service and professional events, but also attend events hosted by collegiate chapters.
